Excuse Me, But I Think Your Content May Be Crap

We've said it before, and we'll say it again: content is king.

If you want your website to be successful, there is just one thing that you are going to have to do. You're going to have to produce high quality, solid, well researched, original content. And more than once.

Good content is the driving force behind a good website, and in the world of SEO, good content often translates into sucess. You simply cannot expect to create a website and ignore your content.

Many clients tend to feel bogged down with the task of creating content, and feel intimiated by all of the "rules" that SEO imposes. In fact, creating and managing  a steady flow of content is something we struggle with ourselves. It can be tough to carve out the time to blog regularly, and continually think about how or what you should be blogging about.

Our friends over at Raven hit the nail on the head recently when they said that, "SEO Is Not To Blame For Your Crap Content." And we believe them! A successful website, one that ranks well in the search engines, thrives on good content. This good content is dependent on many factors, including writing content that is keyword rich, that is relevant to your overall site focus, and is original.

If you want your website to achieve your digital marketing goals, then you have to think about it like you would a workout routine: you have to make a plan, put in the work regularly, and have tools in place to measure your success. At Pixel Perfect, we can be your "digital marketing trainer" and build your website some serious SEO muscle. It will require determination, and will not happen overnight, but we have the tools and results to prove that it can work for you.

Here are just a few quick starting tips:

1. A blog is an easy way to keep your content flowing. Google loves fresh content. Plus, a blog helps you connect with your users, and shows a bit of your brand's personality.

2. Think about other sites that you visit, and why - are you more likely to trust a website with very little content, or a website that has ample, well thought out, clearly defined content?

3. Don't stress! SEO is something that can at time feels stressful, but in the end, good content will out perform a few missed technicalities.
